I take a holistic approach to counselling, focusing on all aspects of the person – emotional, physical, social and spiritual.

I believe all people are inherently resourceful and good.  I help people to identify their own resourcefulness and to find their own solutions.

We can learn new ways of being in the world.  I aim to help people to identify new ways of thinking and being that will lead to lead happier and more fulfilling lives.

I work in a client-centred way and draw on a range of counselling approaches.  The approaches that I use depend on the nature of the issues and the client’s preferred way of working.  In my work I frequently use cognitive behaviour therapy, narrative therapy and integrated drawing therapy.
